I began this adventure when I was twelve and given the camera for my brother’s birthday party and told to capture it all. It was quickly followed by darkroom work on my junior high yearbook and newspaper and I’ve never really set down a camera since.

It took me seventeen years to establish the strength I needed to begin this project, this business, aptly named after my daughters. My background includes journalism, graphic design and teaching and advising. But at every turn in my life, I have surrounded myself with photography and cameras. I love helping capture moments for people to cherish forever.

I spent eight years professionally teaching journalism, photography, design and video full time at the high school level so when I offer classes in how to teach, I do so using experience, helping you learn your camera and even your editing in a way that makes sense to you – through a manual and assignments that test your hands on knowledge and teach you how to use your equipment to the best of your ability, and not just the camera’s automatic ability.

The fine art side of photography I developed working with Association of Texas Photography Instructors and the beautiful work their students product. I hold a bachelors in journalism from Texas Wesleyan and a masters from Texas Christian University.

My style is usually heavily reliant on that journalism background of capturing seconds of elation, joy and wonder as well as action. I use the available light to hold onto those moments that are most needed to be cherished and held dear.
